February Brought Me Back to You

Lyrics

[Verse 1] I had a heart that wandered far Lost the light of my guiding star Prayers I'd stopped saying, doors I'd closed Then winter turned to something new February brought me back to you And a love I thought I'd never know [Chorus] You led me home to faith again My joy, my wife, my closest friend When you said I love you, my whole world came alive Mary, you're the answer to a prayer Every road we've traveled, God was there And I thank Him every day you're by my side [Verse 2] By September we said I do Just seven months, but I knew it was true From Bangkok streets to English rain Virginia's hills, Alabama's plains Now Florida sunshine calls us home Wherever we go, we're never alone [Chorus] You led me home to faith again My joy, my wife, my closest friend When you said I love you, my whole world came alive Mary, you're the answer to a prayer Every road we've traveled, God was there And I thank Him every day you're by my side [Bridge] Your kids and mine, now simply ours A table full beneath the stars Two families woven into one A love that's never, ever done [Verse 3] Someday our hair will turn to gray I'll hold your hand the same old way Every new beginning, every sunrise I'll still see heaven in your eyes [Chorus] You led me home to faith again My joy, my wife, my closest friend When you said I love you, my whole world came alive Mary, you're the answer to a prayer Every road ahead, our God is there And I'll thank Him every year we're side by side [Outro] Happy anniversary, my love A gift sent down from up above
