The Lucky One Is Me

[0:03] Hi, my name is Edi and I did this song for my husband Jack. [0:08] We've been married for four years and uh we actually met four and a half years ago on a dating website. [0:15] And we both had lost spouses and um it was just kind of a hard time for both of us. [0:23] Um because of those losses, but we found love again. [0:28] And he is a great guy, and so I wanted him to know how much I appreciated him. [0:35] So when I first um kept seeing the ads for timeless on Facebook, I thought, oh, that's really cute, that's awesome. [0:45] That's neat that they were able to do that for their family, their spouse or whatever. [0:50] And um and I thought, that'd be really cool sometime, but I never really checked it out. [0:55] And so then our fourth anniversary was coming up. [1:00] And um and so what I did was I pushed the button and I wanted to find out more about what this was. [1:08] And so I contacted them and they asked you for information about your loved one, which I thought was really cool. [1:17] And then um a little later, it actually asked you if you want to add more to it, which I decided that would be a great idea. [1:27] So I did and uh I was so happy that I did because they put our story together amazing, amazing. [1:35] Oh my goodness, it was so perfect. [1:38] And um there were two there were two words in the um in the song that didn't really fit for us. [1:47] And so I actually contacted them and asked them if they would change those two words. [1:53] And they did and uh no problems whatsoever. [1:57] They were awesome. [1:58] The uh artist was absolutely amazing, her voice was beautiful. [2:04] And um and I know that um this was something that was definitely um meant to be. [2:13] My husband at first was hilarious because he I started playing the song. [2:18] He was sitting in the other room and uh he didn't get it. [2:23] So I thought, I'm going to get him in this room. [2:26] And so I uh asked him, I said, hey, I have a a song I want you to listen to. [2:33] And and he said, uh okay, so he came in, he sat down. [2:37] I had been playing some other songs and so I thought, this is the perfect time, right? [2:41] And so he won't suspect anything. [2:44] I was kind of flipping my phone back around in my hand, so he wouldn't see that I was actually going to start recording him. [2:52] And uh but I did press the record button and uh started recording. [2:57] At first he did no, he did not at all know that the song was about him or about us. [3:05] And uh it wasn't until his name was actually spoken twice in the song, he finally said, uh how'd you do that? [3:13] And so I thought that was really cute. [3:15] But um it was a priceless thing for me to be able to do for him. [3:21] Um I just want you to know that if you are thinking about doing this, uh please, please do it because you will not be sorry. [3:31] They're a great company to work for, uh with, I should say, I don't work for them, but I I work with them and they were awesome. [3:38] And um I just want you to know that it is such a an amazing gift to be able to give to your loved one. [3:46] that you will not be sorry at all, ever. [3:49] And um and I found out that they actually, you know, you could do it for your best friend, which I'm thinking about doing that, uh for my best friend. [3:58] And um so please think about it, don't hesitate and um go do it. [4:05] You won't be you won't regret it at all. [4:08] Thanks.
